Imation Corp. is a $2.3 billion global technology company that creates system, product and service solutions for the handling, storage, transmission and use of information.

Launched as an independent company on July 1, 1996, Imation is a spin-off of 3M's data storage and imaging businesses. Imation is focused on creating long-term customer and shareholder value through product solutions, a lean overhead structure, strategic industry alliances, new technology platforms and fast response time. Imation common stock will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange and the Chicago Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "IMN".
